Intended for the one who rarely makes it into photos we love with the kids in our lives! These are geared towards moms who would like some solo intimate, playful shots with their kids, but dads are 100% welcome as well (or a grandparent, godparent, aunt/uncle, special adult figure, etc!). **Portrait sessions are limited to one adult.

Parenthood portrait sessions are 20 minute slots with 15 minutes of shooting. Please do not be late!

These are meant to be lighthearted, fun, and easy-breezy for everyone. My style is to shoot 90% candid, 10% directed images, all in natural light and a low-key setting. For the most part, I let kids lead in doing whatever feels natural and comfortable for them, leaving everyone more at ease.

My intention is to make these as painless as possible—no forced expressions, no shouting cue words, no uncomfortable positions. Just quick and enjoyable for everyone.

  • These will be ALL FILM, BLACK & WHITE sessions. You will receive a gallery of 20-25 PIN protected hi-res film photos for download by email. Timeless treasures to cherish forever!

  • This year’s mini sessions will be hosted at my creative studio shop/showroom, ATELIER SUNHOUSE. The shop is located UPSTAIRS at 888 Linden Ave, Carpinteria CA 93013.
    For reference, the shop is above The Nugget.

  • In order to complete your booking, you will be charged the full cost of the session (total cost is $400).

**Unfortunately I cannot accommodate cancellations or rescheduling sessions at this time. If you have to cancel your session, your payment will not be refunded, but you can transfer your session to someone else if you email me ahead of time to give me a heads up (juliepointer (at) gmail.com).
